Customizing Reference Check Questions: Tailoring Questions for Specific User Types

For instance, questions about pet care experience would be pertinent for a Petsitter but irrelevant for a Household Manager. In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of customizing reference check questions in EngineHire to ensure that only relevant questions are displayed based on the selected user type. Let’s dive in!

Step 1: Click on the “More” dropdown and select “Application & Profile Builder”.

Step 2: Locate “Reference Check” and click the pencil icon to edit.

Step 3: Click the dropdown to view the settings for each question and select “Show Condition” under “Select Other Properties”.

Step 4: Two new options will appear; select “User Type” under “Show If”, and below this, choose the relevant user type, which in this example would be “Pet sitting”, then click Save.
