Founder of PlumCheck
Josh Karetny is a New York–based entrepreneur and the founder of PlumCheck, a platform for secure, user-authorized sharing of verified health data. He has spent his career at the intersection of technology, policy, and privacy, including more than a decade as a senior advisor to a United States Senator. Later, while working on a hospital-backed interoperability initiative, Josh identified the need for a tool that would allow people to share verified health statuses with non-healthcare platforms in areas such as HR, travel, and dating. He founded PlumCheck in 2024 with the goal of building a broadly accessible service, a “Plaid for health verification.”
What Is Caregiver Health Verification?
Caregiver health data verification is the process of securely confirming a caregiver’s health-related credentials, tests, immunizations, and compliance information through trusted, verified sources instead of manual paperwork.
